Greetings,
I assume you may be thinking I want someone to die....lol! You know that old saying, "don't hold your breath" or "I won't hold my breath". Most people use that when they are waiting around for someone, or something to do something, etc... Usually, it may take so long that you'd better not hold your breath, or you'll die......lol!
Well, that's not the case for me these days. Let me explain: I am currently embarking on another "Juice" Cleanse, that I am anticipating will last for 30 days or more, or at minimum 21 days.....whew! Try explaining that one to someone who is new to the game, or just set in their ways that we "need" food, and certain types to be healthy. Anyhoo, those who know me, know I do this about 4times a year, (once a season), and it all began about 4 years ago......so that's about 16 cleanses for me.........wow! You'd think I'd be the picture of health after doing so many. But, I'm not! This is total side bar chatter, so let me get back on point.
Each Cleanse is different in their own right. I remember my first one like it was yesterday. It lasted 10 days, cause that's all I could commit to. I felt dizzy, had a headache, and experienced more hunger pains than anticipated. Luckily, there was a local Juice Bar that would supply me with my Lunch and Snack at work, after I've had my morning smoothie or juice, which I would prepare at home. My first cleanse was amazing, I felt great each day and after my initial side affects, I sailed right through the end.
During the course of the next few years, each fast became better and better. I'd make different combo's of juices, with various veggies: kale, cucumber, romaine lettuce, collard greens, parsley, beets, carrots, etc....
However, that's not even what this post is about either......lmao! Basically, I've noticed a physical change with my last two fasts........not a very pleasant one, but I've noticed it nonetheless. "Breath"! "Breath"! "Breath"! I can smell "Breath" from a mile away, literally. It's quite annoying, and disgusting. I smell my children's breath, my husband's breath, co-workers, hell..........anyone's. It's super bad when I go to the GYM....yikes!! I am assuming it's due to my lack of ingesting food, which severely clouds your sense of smell and taste. We don't really even know what our body feels like, or is capable of, until we nourish it with good nutrients. At least that's what I make of it.
So, while I love cleansing, and making my body more pure, I hate the smell of "BREATH" during the process of my cleanse. My words of advice to most people I encounter, and I mean this with love........"Please" hold your breath.
What would you like to drink? Hint......maybe some Lysterine, or Scope.......! joke
