Greetings,

"What the Ass!".........A Year has passed!

If you are West Indian, you'll understand the phrase, "What the Ass".  It's similar to the American version of "What the Hell"....and yes, there will be occasional profanity in my blogs.  Get over it, I'm a grown woman.....those of you reading this are too....maybe not women, but grown all the same!

Sooooo, it's been almost a year since I've posted anything, anything!!  However, I'm back in the saddle and ready to ride.  The next few blogs may be sort of bland and blah, but I'll post nonetheless, and for sure be grateful that you are reading.

The last year has been nonstop: The children got a year older, of course 5 and 6.  I'm still working at Ace Natural.  I managed to travel about three times this year, even though I said I wasn't going anywhere.  I am still a certified personal trainer, and also certified to teach groups (new this year).  Most importantly, I'm still a Vegan, and My children are going on 6 and 7 years Vegan (their entire life thus far).  I've done my usual 4 fast/cleansing a year.  Oh, and most recently, I lost my Car (Black Honda Pilot, that I just had to have two years ago), its gone!!!  There is a shit load more, but can't air all the dirty laundry on paper (cyber space), until I'm making millions and just don't give a "F"....(will try not to say the "F" word, unless absolutely necessary)!!

Anyhoo......I've been rude.....might I ask, what would you like to drink?

Have a seat......more to come!

"Please" Hold your Breath.................I'll be waiting!

Greetings,

I assume you may be thinking I want someone to die....lol!  You know that old saying, "don't hold your breath" or "I won't hold my breath".  Most people use that when they are waiting around for someone, or something to do something, etc...  Usually, it may take so long that you'd better not hold your breath, or you'll die......lol!
Well, that's not the case for me these days.  Let me explain:  I am currently embarking on another "Juice" Cleanse, that I am anticipating will last for 30 days or more, or at minimum 21 days.....whew!  Try explaining that one to someone who is new to the game, or just set in their ways that we "need" food, and certain types to be healthy.  Anyhoo, those who know me, know I do this about 4times a year, (once a season), and it all began about 4 years ago......so that's about 16 cleanses for me.........wow!  You'd think I'd be the picture of health after doing so many.  But, I'm not!  This is total side bar chatter, so let me get back on point.
Each Cleanse is different in their own right.  I remember my first one like it was yesterday.  It lasted 10 days, cause that's all I could commit to.  I felt dizzy, had a headache, and experienced more hunger pains than anticipated.  Luckily, there was a local Juice Bar that would supply me with my Lunch and Snack at work, after I've had my morning smoothie or juice, which I would prepare at home.  My first cleanse was amazing, I felt great each day and after my initial side affects, I sailed right through the end.
During the course of the next few years, each fast became better and better.  I'd make different combo's of juices, with various veggies: kale, cucumber, romaine lettuce, collard greens, parsley, beets, carrots, etc....
However, that's not even what this post is about either......lmao!  Basically, I've noticed a physical change with my last two fasts........not a very pleasant one, but I've noticed it nonetheless.  "Breath"!  "Breath"! "Breath"!  I can smell "Breath" from a mile away, literally.  It's quite annoying, and disgusting.  I smell my children's breath, my husband's breath, co-workers, hell..........anyone's.  It's super bad when I go to the GYM....yikes!!  I am assuming it's due to my lack of ingesting food, which severely clouds your sense of smell and taste.  We don't really even know what our body feels like, or is capable of, until we nourish it with good nutrients.  At least that's what I make of it.
So, while I love cleansing, and making my body more pure, I hate the smell of "BREATH" during the process of my cleanse.  My words of advice to most people I encounter, and I mean this with love........"Please" hold your breath.

What would you like to drink?  Hint......maybe some Lysterine, or Scope.......!  joke

"Welcome" on in........Have a seat, and what would you like to drink?

Greetings,
I am super excited to be creating my first blog!  First order of business is to Thank "YOU" for following me, and caring about what I have to say.  Second order of business is to "Stay Tuned" and "Stay with me" on this journey.  Because, I am sure your comments and input may also help me along the way! My intention for this blog is simple.......write "whatever" I want, "whenever" I want.  However, more specifically, I'll be focusing on juggling my life as a "me", a "mother", a "wife", a "vegan", ect....  I'm especially ecstatic to share my journey's with Cleansing (fasting), being a Vegan, Food, and Health in general.  Consider this blog as my home!  I've invited you in, and I want to show you my hospitality.  Each visit will be different, some great, some good, and some not so good.  However, one thing that will always be consistent......Imma ask you what you would like to drink!!  I'll have a variety to choose from, Hard or Soft, it's your choice........at the end of each blog posting, you'll decide which you'll choose.......!
So, come on in........have a seat...........and what can I get you do drink?
